Lover's Tangerine Dream
1 chocolate cake mix
1 chocolate frosting mix
1 8 oz. Jar Tangerine Butter
1 bag Orange Bark (opt.)
Bake cake as usual using 8" round layer pans. Cool 15 minutes then split
layers in half using a sewing thread. (Make a small slit with a knife
on back side of layer. Insert middle of thread and holding each end gently
pull toward you. Try to keep thread in center of layer.) Spread the cut
sides of the layers with Tangerine Butter. Let cool completely. Assemble
cake putting cut sides together. Use icing between the layers and then
ice cake as usual. Crush Orange Bark candy and sprinkle over top. |
